Great new write-up! & Updated website!

Hey there!

The totally-radical site It's The Money Shot posted a great write-up about P.O.B. that can be found in perma-link format here. The site hosts super-secret and collectible items, such as the cover of "My Humps," a demo of "Don't Take My Advice," and a live version of "My Eyes Won't Shut." Download that shiznit, bitches.

Also, I finally updated the website with the tour dates, plus the dates that are confirmed after the tour. More confirmed Feb dates coming soon. We are all gearing up for the tour and we can't fucking wait. It will be a blast for the shizzle.

Hope you all are well!

Treluna added to Painted Sky show!

The long-deserved reunion of Treluna will take place on January 7th at Painted Sky in Cambria. Although the line-up is still being finalized, Treluna has confirmed to perfrom for the first time in over three years!

Also, Boo Boo Records now carries both Port O releases again.

Thanks for coming out to the show.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the 2nd Ever Gazebo Show. How good were those motherfucking pizelles (or however they are spelled)? Lorenzo's Shadow was of course amazing. I can't believe the cops didn't come, although as Caleb guessed - they probably had to be called in from MB-Town and we all left before they got there. Now, I am back in parent's house - loving it here, but missing the O-Zone in some ways.

If you live in the LA area, you must go see Bloody Heads at the Spaceland 12/23. You MUST. Okay?

Love love love.....

Show tonight and other news.

First, we are playing a free show tonight at the gazebo in Shamel Park in Cambria - 9PM - and cookies made by Cambria. Bloody Heads and Enzo's Shadow will also be playing some tunes.

Also, if you live down south, Bloody Heads are playing on the 23rd in LA at the Spaceland with Scissors For Lefty - so be sure to go check that shit out. It will be a great show!

That's all for now.......

Show tomorrow Night!

We are playing a last minute show in Cambria tomorrow night at the Shamel Park gazebo at 9PM. It probably will be quite cold, so bring blankets, hot chocolate, and sweaters. There will be some Christmas cookies available as well as possibly some other treats. Enzo's Shadow will also be performing. Call me with any question (directions, etc) 805 909 9652. Happy holidays!

Oh yeah, I changed the look of this page, because I was sick of all that blackness...

Also, Cambria and I are home now in Cambria - where we will be until the 30th or so. It feels great to be home with the trees and oceanside. The tour's fast approach is so exciting!

Shows, shows, and shows!

Hey there everyone!

It's time for a big update on all news. First off, the Pitchfork track review has yielded powerful results and our back-stock of CDs is quickly running dry (esp. Nowhere to Run), so if you don't have a copy, and want one, you should get one soon - now available directly from the Myspace and PortOBrien.Com. $12 for both with free shipping - crazy!

"When the Rain Comes" is doing very well on the KALX Berkeley Top 35. It's been floating in the top 15 for several weeks now, peaking at #7 in mid-November. Stream the station online at kalx.berkeley.edu and call 510-642-5259 to request.

January has shows up the wah-zoo. And February is going to as well. Here is the basic run-down of for sure shows:

12/31 - Berkeley - Mansion House Party
1/3 - Santa Cruz - E3 Playhouse - w/ Bloody Heads, Bear on Bear
1/5 - Los Feliz - Tangier's - w/ Bloody Heads, Cosio
1/6 - Hollywood - The Knitting Factory - w/ Bloody Heads, The Primos
1/7 - Thousand Oaks - The Dead End - w/ Bloody Heads, Watercolor Paintings (3PM)
1/7 - Cambria - Painted Sky w/ Bloody Heads, Cosio (9PM)
1/8 - San Luis Obispo - TBA
1/9 - Oakland - The Stork Club - w/ Bloody Heads, Cosio
1/12 - San Francisco - Brainwash - w/ Bloody Heads
1/13 - Eureka - The Pearl - w/ Bloody Heads, The Signals
1/17 - Davis - Delta of Venus
1/18 - San Francisco - The Make-Out Room - w/ Anna Egge
1/20 - San Luis Obispo - Steynberg Gallery - w/ The Finches
2/3 - Santa Cruz - E3 Playhouse - w/ Scissors For Lefty

There are even more in the works that will be announced soon.

There is a bunch of great news on its way, but must be kept hushed for the now. Keep in touch as things will be developing quickly soon enough.

Great Write-up at Herohill!

The influential music site Herohill posted a feature on Port O'Brien today. Click here to view it. There will be an exciting project going on with Herohill before the end of the month (hopefully) and I let you know more details of that when it comes to be.

The tour schedule is shaping up still, with some minor shake-ups and turnarounds that I will write about soon. I hope everyone is well on this Monday morning.
